On January, 11-14, the Iranian island of Kish hosted the 12th International Energy Exhibition.

The three-day event brought together around 195 local and foreign companies including those from  Italy, China, Turkey, the Netherlands, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, France, Austria, UAE, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Russia, Britain, Japan, Canada, Kuwait and Switzerland.

The exhibition was a venue where participants demonstrated available opportunities and capacities for investment in relevant sectors and offered state-of-the-art achievements in the field of oil, gas, petrochemical, waterpower, electricity and other types of energy.

Such Iranian organizations and institutes as Iran’s Petroleum Ministry, National Iranian Oil Company, National Iranian Gas Company, Iran’s National Petrochemical Company have contributed to the organization of the exhibition.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition featured the address of vice-president and head of the Atomic Energy of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi.

Akkord Corporation was represented at the event by its Country Representative, Amir Gharagouzli, who told about the Corporation’s activities, its latest achievements and stressed the company’s interest in expanding and strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the oil-related fields.
