Vugar Suleymanov has been appointed CEO of Akkord Industrial Construction Investment Corporation OJSC since December 1.

It should be noted that Vugar Suleymanov was born in 1974 in Baku. In 1991-1996 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Baku State University. In 2007-2008, he graduated from the Faculty of Corporate Law at the University of Nottingham Trent in the United Kingdom with a master's degree. From 2008 to 2010, he majored in Corporate Management at the University of Nottingham Trent in the United Kingdom. He has been studying at the LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science) since 2019 under the Executive MBA (Business Administration) program in London and is currently continuing his education.

Vugar Suleymanov held a number of senior positions at Ateshgah Insurance Company in 2011-2015. Since 2015, he has held senior positions at Akkord Industrial Construction Investment Corporation OJSC. Since 2016, he has been a member of the board of SYA (Turkey's Yuksel Inshaat A.Sh., Italy's SICIM S.p.A., and Akkord Corporation) joint venture in the TANAP (Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline) project.

Since 2018, he has been the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Akkord Industrial Construction Investment Corporation OJSC, as well as the Chairman of the Board of Gazakh Cement Plant LLC, one of the largest cement producers in the country.

Vugar Suleymanov successfully completed the project to increase the production capacity of Gazakh Cement Plant LLC in 2019-2020, increasing the annual production capacity from 1 million tons to 1.5 million tons. As a result of increasing production, it has provided employment to many citizens in the region. In addition, along with cement production, he managed to establish new concrete plants in a number of strategically important regions of the country, and thus had a say in this area. At present, he continues to lead the supervisory board of Gazakh Cement Plant LLC.

It should be noted that Vugar Suleymanov has led a number of local and foreign projects of Akkord Industrial Construction Investment Corporation and has achieved many successes over the years. The company will continue to grow and develop under his leadership.
