Work is underway on Akkord Industrial Construction Investment Corporation OJSC's ongoing project to expand the Ganja-Gazakh-Georgia border road into four lanes through the Birinci Shikhli village. Work on the project is being carried out on a high hill. In order to prevent landslides in the area, composite is applied on high slopes up to 30 meters, and then a thin layer of soil is poured.
